In Guacarí - Valle del Cauca, are betting on communication as a tool in environmental education.
The student Hugo Vivas Elejalde, of Social Communication Program of the Center of Open and Distance Education CEAD-Palmira, perform the theoretical and practical workshop: The communication as a tool in environmental education, with 48 young people from the Therapeutic Community "St. Francis of Assisi" from Guacarí Town, in compliance with the provisions of Law 1549 of July 5, 2012, to mark the international day of environmental education.
The aim of the contest was to find the talents that the University has around the country.
Through a call do it by UNAD platform, was held the contest Voces Unadistas 2013. To participate in this invitation, the participant should send a video with the song that was going to play. Likewise, the personal and contact information such as: zone, center, school and academic program.
In city halls, police commands, government offices, parks of the department and even in the penitentiary centers were performed the promotion sessions.
With the support and leadership of the Director of the Center of Open and Distance Education Medellin - West Zone, Dr. Juan Bayona Ferreira and a group of teachers from the different schools of UNAD, they decided to visit several municipalities from the eastern, southern and northern of Antioquia department with the aim to promote higher education programs.
