Multiculturalism was present at the Ethno Educational Forum

40 students were trained in investigative skills.

Kankuamo, Arawak and Wiwa indigenous, Mestizos and Afro Americans were integrated during the Ninth Ethno Educational Forum organized by the School of Educational Sciences at CEAD Valledupar.

During the meeting, which allowed live interculturality, several action research methodologies were applied. Also parents, neighbors and friends of the indigenous reserve of La Mina in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, were present in the event.

Jairo Gutierrez Piñerez, dean of the School of Educational Sciences, highlighted in an academic context the participation of the four schools. "What we want with this academic and research exercise, is that ethnic education is no longer alive as a program, but as a reality within the context of the strengths and weaknesses".

During the forum 40 students were trained, developing investigative skills by applying structured, open and closed interviews with the community of La Mina village.
